5 Annoying Nail Problems

Nail Care Ideas

There are many various nail problems out there. There is usually a solution so here are some answers to some nail problems.

1. If you got strong nails but they flake...

This is a common nail problem. It is characterized by a flaky, appearance of the nail and you can see little separate layers come apart. Most people reach for a nail partner, but this can make it worse. If your nails feel dry to the touch, you need to hydrate the nail plate and give the nails the nutrition they are lacking.

2. If you got weak, bending and flaking nails...

If your nails are flaky and you have weak nails after taking off gel nails, extensions, you do need to use a nail hardener and apply it once or twice a week.

3. If your nails won't just grow…

If it seems like your nails never get any longer this may be due to bad circulation in your hands. If you have cold hands, your nails won't grow as fast. One way to encourage growth is to treat them daily with the product of oil that is enriched with proteins and vitamins. Massage them into the root of the nail to feed it, which increases circulation and stimulates nail growth.

4. If you got yellowed or discolored nails…

Nails can turn an unnatural color due to smoking, illness or not wearing a base coat or strong nail polish color. To brighten and lighten the nail, make a homemade scrub using lemon juice and mix it with sugar and all of oil. Using an optical nail whitener would make the whites of the nail look whiter and pink look pinker. It also helps to neutralize yellow tones.

5. If your nail snaps or breaks easily…

Nails that break easily are often inflexible and too hard. They do not need to be strengthened with the hardener as one would think, but this isn't the case. A hardening treatment will only make the nail break more often and lower down which can be painful. Instead treat this with a product that strengthens while also increasing flexibility.
